Return on Industrial Insurance (R.O.I.I.) Programs
Members of the Master Builders Association of Pierce County may qualify to participate in the BIAW Return of Industrial Insurance (R.O.I.I) or "Retro" program. Retro is the general name used for programs the State of Washington allows employers to participate in whereby they can receive substantial refunds on their L&I premiums. It's conscious and careful about their claims management procedures. Currently approximately 60% of premiums paid to the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries are subject to Retro refunds. In addition to the potential refuns you could realize, the retro program also offers assitance with workers comp claims and safety program set up and review.
The BIAW Retro program has become the largest retrospective ratings group in the State of Washington with members receiving an average of a 25% refund of L&I Workers Compensation premiums. This is a great program established over 25 years ago with a statewide buy in power of over 6000 member companies.
